Based in Ontario, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats are a Canadian professional football team. Born from a merger in 1950 between the "Tigers" (Hamilton FC) and the Hamilton Wildcats, the team plays today in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member of the East Division.
 
Over the years, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats have won 8 Grey Cup, including one at home. Despite permanent qualifying for the playoffs, their last Grey Cup dates back to 1999.
