Performed over 3,000 times and seen by over 3 million spectators, Broue is considered the greatest success in the history of theatre in Quebec. Acclaimed by many generations, its performers have been awarded many prizes over the years for this piece and have broken many more records.

One record in particular is held by original comedians Michel Côté, Marc Messier and Marcel Gauthier in the Guinness World of Records for a theatre piece performed the longest by the same actors.
