How do mobile tickets work?
Mobile tickets must be presented on a smartphone to access the event.
Mobile tickets can be received in three ways:
- QR code sent by text message
These tickets are sent to your mobile device via text messaging, in the form of a message containing an image of a QR code. To receive your QR Code, you must have a smartphone and activate mobile data.
- Download link sent by text message
These tickets must be registered via the “Wallet” application on your mobile device. Before receiving the tickets, you will need to install this application, which can be downloaded free of charge from Google Play and Apple Store.
You will receive a link by text message allowing you to download your tickets. Important: tickets will be valid only when they are added one by one to your “Wallet” application. Make sure that your tickets are visible and accessible in the app, before the day of the event, to avoid any technical problems when you enter.
Please note that if you have an Apple device, there will be no barcode on your ticket; this is perfectly normal. To access the event, simply hold your phone up to the reader at the entrance of the hall to authenticate yourself contactless.
- Acceptance link sent by email
As soon as tickets are available for transfer, Tickets.ca will send an e-mail and a text message indicating that the transfer process has been initiated. At this point, an e-mail from the issuing box office containing the ticket acceptance link will be sent to the address provided at the time of purchase.
From this e-mail, it is imperative to click on the button prompting you to accept the tickets. You must then follow the step-by-step instructions provided by the ticket issuer.
Depending on the platform, an account may be required. For account holders, it's simply a matter of logging in. If you don't have an account, it's necessary to create one. Tickets will appear in the “My Tickets” section once the account login has been established.
In order to access the event, it is essential to present the tickets on a smartphone, via the box office platform that issued the event or via the affiliated application. In some cases, tickets can also be added to the “Wallet” application.
