The Edmonton Oil Kings are a professional hockey team in Alberta that play in the Western Hockey League (WHL).
 
Founded in 2006, the team are the latest reincarnation of the Oil Kings in Edmonton. Since then, the Edmonton Oil Kings have been the big winners of the WHL in 2012 and have participated in several Memorial Cup including the 2014 one they won hands down.
 
It is at Rogers Place that the Edmonton Oil Kings have chosen to play their home games, home they share with the Edmonton Oilers.
