The Montreal Impact has reached the finals of the first division of the USL and is set to face the Vancouver Whitecaps. The two teams will face off in a 2-match series, with the cumulative scoring determining the grand Champion.

The first match will take place in Vancouver, on Saturday, October 10th, 2009. The second and ultimate match between the two teams will happen at the Saputo Stadium in Montréal, on Saturday October 17th, at 2pm.

After a rough beginning of the season, the Montreal Impact improved and ended up at the 5th spot of the first division of the USL ranking. The Montreal Impact is yet to lose a single match in these series, having beaten the Charleston Battery in the quarter finals, and then the Porto Rico Islanders in the semi-finals.
