Martin Matte will be presenting his second one man show «Condamné à l’excellence» at the Wilfrid-Pelletier Hall Of Montreal on July 31st, August 1st, October 17th and the 24th, 2009, and from January 19th to the 21st, he will perform at the L'Étoile dix30 concert hall in Brossard.
Martin Matte was awarded a Golden Ticket for having sold over 100,000 seats for his new show, a success which came before the show’s premiere! To this day, over 320,000 tickets for his new show have been sold and his DVD Comment devenir excellent continues to be a huge hit. On the DVD, a camera crew tracks Martin Matte’s every step while he is working on preparing for his new show. Created entirely from unpublished and new material, over 70 hours of filming were required in order to produce this comedic documentary unravelling the untold secrets of one of Quebec’s greatest stand-up comics.
