
Louis-José Houde is currently on the road with his show Suivre la parade. TIckets are currently available for the April 17th and 18th shows at Salle Albert-Rousseau, as well for the November 21st one at Brossard's L'Étoile, in the Dix30 district.
For the production of his second one man show, the stand-up comic as once again called on Joseph St-Gelais for directing and François Avard for script writing.
Louis-José Houde graduated from the École National de l’Humour in 1998. His first one man show was presented 500 times in a 3 years and10 month period. He was awarded a Platinum Ticket for having sold over 300,000 seats for his show.
With his first self-titled show, the comedian won an impressive 4 Olivier Awards in 2003 for Best Comedy show of the Year, Comedian of the Year, Best Theatrical Performance of the Year and Best Comedy Sketch of the Year. In 2006, he proceeded to win once more Best Comedy Show of the Year and in 2007 won Best Comedy DVD of the Year for Louis-José Houde à l’Olympia…de Montréal. To this date, the DVD has sold over 60,000 copies.
