Jean Pascal and Chad Dawson will face off at the Bell Centre in Montréal on August 14th, 2010, for Pascal's WBC Light Heavyweight world championship.

This will be Jean Pascal's first bout since his shoulder surgery, at the beginning of the year.

The Laval boxer better be ready because Chad Dawson will not go down easily. Undefeated in his 29 contests thus far, Dawson was rated 6th pound-for-pound boxer in the world by The Ring Magazine.

HBO will be broadcasting the event as part of its World Championship Boxing series.
