Van Morrison will be featured at the Wilfrid-Pelletier auditorium, in Montréal, on October 1st, 2009.

Van The Man will perform his classic 1968 effort Astral Weeks in its entirety. 

Released in 1968, Astral Weeks quickly became a cult favorite, despite poor sales. In 1995, MOJO magazine named Astral Weeks the second best album of all times, while Rolling Stones magazine placed it at #19. 

The content of Astral Weeks had never been brought to the stage. Before 2008, that is.

Van Morrison's last trip to Montréal dates back to the summer of 2007.
