American psych-rock outfit The Flaming Lips will play OSHEAGA festival which will be held from July 29th to the 31th. They will play "The Soft Bulletin" album entirely.

They will also be at the Ottawa Cisco Bluestfest which will be held at LeBreton Flats, in Ottawa from July 5th to the 17th 2011.

Known and admired for their noisy and visually stunning performances, The Flaming Lips were up to the test last time we saw them in Montreal: at OSHEAGA in 2006.

In October 2009, The Flaming Lips released their 12th studio album, the ambitious Embryonic.

Only a few months later, they released a surprising new album, covering Pink Floyd's classic Dark Side of the Moon.
